( Figs. 1–12 View FIGURES 1–6 View FIGURES 7–12 )
Description. Female: Body small-sized, elongated, and slender. Head not exerted above upper level of pronotum, anterior margin of vertex almost straight, not protruding beyond eyes; width of vertex equal to width of an eye, median carina before middle conspicuous, lateral margins turned backward. In profile, vertex and frontal costa forming a right angle, frontal costa straight before eyes but not visible and protruding as arch between antennae; width of longitudinal furrow narrower than width of first antennal segment. Antenna filiform, 15-segmented, length of a segment in middle approximately 3–4 times longer than its width, inserted below lower margins of eyes. Eyes globose. Lateral ocelli placed on slightly below the middle of anterior margins of eyes.
Disc of pronotum smooth, has numerous fine particles, anterior margin of pronotum straight and a bit concave in the middle; median carina entire (median carina of pronotum on prozona inconspicuous in some individuals); upper margin of pronotum slightly undulate before shoulders and straight behind shoulders in profile; lateral keels of prozona parallel; humeral angle obtuse, a little swollen and without abbreviated carinae between shoulders. Caudal end of pronotum narrow, long cone-shaped, surpassing hind femora about 3 mm and reaching apex of hind tibia. Posterior margins of lateral lobes of pronotum with two concavities, posterior angles of lateral lobes of pronotum turned downwards and slightly produced outwards, obliquely truncate and slightly round behind at apex. Visible part of tegmina long, ovate, with apex rounded. Hind wings developed, reaching or surpassing apex of posterior process of pronotum. Fore femur and mid femur elongated, upper and lower margins finely serrated and slightly undulate; width of mid femur obvious narrower than width of tegmina. Hind femur 3.3× as long as wide, antegenicular and genicular denticles right angle. Outer side of hind tibia with six to seven spines and inner side with four to five spines. Hind tarsus consisting of three segments: first longer than third segments; first segment with three pulvilli; third pulvillus longer than first and second, apices of first and second acute, apices of third obtuse. Ovipositor narrow and long, length of upper valvulae 3.6 times its width, upper and lower valvulae with slender saw-like teeth. Length of subgenital plate equal to its width, middle of posterior margin of subgenital plate with a triangular convex.
Body dark brown. Antennae brown, the end segment black. Wings black. Fore femur and mid femur dark brown. Hind femur dark brown. Hind tibia dark brown, with light brown at base and middle.
Male. Similar to female, but smaller and narrower. Width of vertex equal to or narrower than width of an eye. Subgenital plate cone-shaped, apex bifurcated.
Measurements (mm). Length of body ♂ 7.5–8.0, ♀ 10.5–11.0; length of pronotum ♂ 10.0–10.5, ♀ 11.5–12.0; length of hind femur ♂ 4.0–4.5, ♀ 5.5–6.0.

Diagnosis. New species is similar to Bolivaritettix hutiaoxiana Zheng, 2003 from which it differs in body small-sized, length of pronotum ♂ 10.0 mm– 10.5 mm, ♀ 11.5 mm –12.0 mm (body large-sized, length of pronotum ♂ 16.0 mm, ♀ 17.0 mm in B. hutiaoxiana ); antenna inserted below lower margins of eyes (antenna inserted between lower margins of eyes in B. hutiaoxiana ); upper margin of pronotum slightly undulate before shoulders and straight behind shoulders in profile (upper margin of pronotum straight in profile in B. hutiaoxiana ); caudal end of pronotum reaching apex of hind tibia (caudal end of pronotum reaching two-thirds of hind tibia in B. hutiaoxiana ); hind tibia dark brown, with light brown at base and middle (hind tibia dark brown in B. hutiaoxiana ).
Etymology. The new species was named after the type locality, Baoxing.
