Dimensions.

"Long. 28, diam. 10 mill."; figured specimen herein H 28.0, D 16.4, W 4.8.

Type material.

NHMUK 1975549, lectotype; 197550, one paralectotype (Cuming coll.).

Remarks.

Breure (2008) has shown that the type specimens are subadults. The species has been found in Colombia, Dept. Santander, Páramaro de Almorzadero, to which the type locality may be restricted (restr. n.).

Current systematic position.

Bulimulidae , Stenostylus nigrolimbatus (Pfeiffer, 1853).
