Canthidium apicatum Harold, 1867a: 30 View in CoL [transferred to Choeridium by Harold 1868: 40; firstly cited in combination with Ateuchus Weber, 1801 View in CoL by Martínez 1959: 77]. Type locality: Argentina, Buenos Aires (“ Buenos-Ayres ”). Type material: Location of syntypes unknown. Distribution: Brazil and Argentina ( Blackwelder 1944; Martínez 1959; Vaz-de-Mello 2000).
