Canthidium femoratum Boucomont, 1935: 9 View in CoL [here transferred to the subgenus Canthidium View in CoL ]. Type locality: Brazil: Espírito Santo, and Paraguay: “Mollinasque”. Type material: Unknown number of syntypes (MNHN—ex Boucomont collection, SMTD—ex Felsche collection, and “M. Valek Lucassen” collection). Distribution: Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
