Range: — Guyana, Andes from Colombia ( León-Parra 2012) and Venezuela to Bolivia (LP).
Ecology: —Rare, known from six Bolivian collections; epiphytic and saxicolous, in humid forests; 1100–2100 m.
Notes: —This species is probably mostly closely related to C. pearcei and differs mainly by its smaller, narrower blades, mostly 1–2 cm times longer than wide (vs. 3–7 times longer than wide).
