Chrysochlora baccoides Rondani, 1875 View in CoL
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1875c: 454.
TYPE LOCALITY: “ Insula Bonae Fortunae (Borneo) , Provincia Sarawak [ Bona Fortuna Island , Sarawak Province, Borneo]” ( Rondani 1875c: 421) .
TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, holotype (not a female as given in the description) (male terminalia in a microvial on the same pin) ( MSNG): Borneo, Sarawak, 1865/1866, Coll. Doria / Chrysochlora baccoides n° 63 / Typus / baccoides Rond. / Holotypus Chrysochlora baccoides Rondani, 1875 , Mason & Rozkošný des., 2005 / Hermetia bicolor (Walker, 1856) , Mason & Rozkošný det., 2005.
CURRENT STATUS: valid species ( James 1975: 32); junior synonym of Hermetia bicolor (Walker, 1856) View in CoL ( Woodley 2001: 74, 2011: 402, Mason & Rozkošný 2005: 49).
REMARKS: Rondani (1875c: 454) described Chrysochlora baccoides from just the female sex, apparently mis-sexing it, without specifying the exact number of specimens and not giving a range of lengths, from material collected by G. Doria and O. Beccari. Guiglia (1957: 194) and Raineri & Rey (1996: 50) reported the holotype (♀) in the MSNG. Mason & Rozkošný (2005: 52) found just one male in the MSNG, which they considered as the holotype.
