Nomenclatural notes: —The specimen P-00665974, which was collected by Joseph de Jussieu in Peru, matches perfectly the protologue of Gnaphalium uniflorum Lamarck (1788: 752) View in CoL . Since one of the labels indicates that it is the only specimen belonging to this collection, we consider that the author used only this specimen to describe the species. Therefore, and according to ICN Art. 9.1 Note 1 ( McNeill et al. 2012), it should be accepted as the holotype of the name G. uniflorum View in CoL .
