Dendrobium darjeelingensis Pradhan (1979: 336)
Neotype (designated here):— INDIA. Assam: Cachar, Near Loharbond Beat Office , ca 37 m, 6 January 2012, Barbhuiya 846 (ASSAM!).
Recent studies (Schuiteman 2011, Xiang et al. 2013, Schuiteman 2014) have proposed that Flickingeria Hawkes (1961: 451) should congeneric with Dendrobium Swartz (1799: 82) . Most names in Flickingeria have combinations in Dendrobium already. However, Flickingeria clementsii Jones (2004: 9) has not yet been transferred to Dendrobium . Here we propose a new combination for it.
