( Figs 11 View FIGURES 10 – 14 , 21 View FIGURES 20 – 22 ; Table 1)
Diagnosis. Diplommatina halimunensis n. sp. is characterized by a very widely ribbed (18–23 ribs on the penultimate whorl), small (shell height 2.45–2.8 mm), sinistral shell with two short oblique palatal folds ventrally to ventrolaterally right inside the last whorl.
Shell ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 20 – 22 ; Table 1). Sinistral; ovoid with conical early whorls and a narrowed last whorl; with 5.5–5.75 whorls separated by a deep suture; protoconch smooth; teleoconch with oblique ribs (18–23 on the penultimate whorl; almost the same number on the last whorl); spiral striae between the ribs only locally visible; corneous; subtranslucent; last whorl rounded, with an indistinct ventral constriction; aperture circular, angular at the transition from columellar to basal side; upper insertion of the peristome distinctly ascending towards aperture; insertions of the peristome connected by a weak callus; peristome expanded, thickened, doubled; one short radial palatal fold; aperture with a columellar lamella; with a short indistinct parietal lamella and a weak oblique palatal fold running from the suture leftwards ventrolaterally right inside the last whorl; with a short oblique palatal fold ventrally running from the suture rightwards; umbilicus closed; operculum thin, corneous, circular, paucispiral. Shell height 2.45–2.8 mm, shell diameter 1.45–1.55 mm.
