Family Cheiragonidae View in CoL
The male gonopore is coxal, with the gonopore located just above the P5 coxo-sternal condyle. In both Telmessus and Erimacrus , the penis, in the form of a soft papilla, is covered by the markedly expanded lateral base of the G1 endopodite, which is very close to the P5 coxa due to the narrowness of the thoracic sternum. See Monophyletic Heterotremata: Superfamily Cheiragonoidea .
