FEMALE (Specimens measured – South Africa: 3).

Dorsum – Dorsal shield, 309­312 long and 208­211 wide, with a few striae laterally and faintly reticulated posteriorly. Setae j1 35, j3 45, j4 25, j5 32, j6 32, J2 28, J5 6, z2 35­ 38, z4 50­54, z5 19­22, Z1 30­32, Z4 33­35, Z5 57, s4 67­72, S2 36­38, S4 32­35, S5 32, r3 41­44, R1 9­16. All dorsal setae are smooth, except Z5, which are serrated. Setae s4 are the longest setae.

Peritreme – Extending to level of setae j3.

Venter – All ventral shield are smooth. Distances between ST!­ST3 55, ST2­ST2 60, ST5­ST5 58­59. Two pairs of metapodal shields present. Ventrianal shield 95­98 long, 47­ 50 wide at level of setae ZV2 and 57­60 wide at anus level. Seta JV1 inserted on anterior margin of ventrianal shield.

Chelicera – Movable digit 24­25 long, with 1 tooth and fixed digit 24­25 long, with 6 teeth.

Spermatheca – Calyx tubular but slightly flaring distally; atrium incorporated in bulged part of calyx.

Legs – Macrosetae sharp­tipped: SgeIV 38­41 and StIV 50­54; chaetotaxy of genu II 2­2/0, 2/0­1, genu III 1­2/1,2/0­1.
