Fuminana niluga View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs 48 View FIGURES 48 –60, 80, 81)

Diagnosis. Pygofer (Fig. 54) apex subtriangular, tapered and subacute. Style (Fig. 58) apex curved dorsally and acute, forming an acute tooth-like subapical process in posterior view. Aedeagus (Figs 59, 60) with shaft straight and apical portion weakly curved anteriorly in lateral view; apex with pair of long subapical processes directed dorsally, arising on ventral surface.

Measurements. Total length: Holotype male: 12.9 mm. Paratypes: males (n = 20), 11.4–11.7 mm.

Coloration. Frons (Fig. 49) with many black punctures except near lateral margins. Other characteristics as in generic description.

Description. Prothoracic leg without filiform setae on ventral surface of femur and tibia. Other characteristics as in generic description.

Male terminalia. Sternite VIII (Fig. 52) 1.4x wider than long; posterior margin slightly excavated medially. Valve (Fig. 53) 1.8x wider than long. Pygofer (Fig. 54) 1,9x longer than maximum height; ventral margin straight; dorsal margin excavated and slightly convex in dorsal view; apex subtriangular, tapered and subacute. Subgenital plate (Fig. 55), in ventral view, 4x longer than wide; inner margin straight; outer margin weakly rounded; apex narrowed and rounded. Connective (Fig. 56) wider than long; stem length ca. 1/5 of basal width of connective. Style (Fig. 57), in dorsal view, with outer lobe weakly developed and rounded; in lateral view (Fig. 58), blade moderately broad, slightly curved dorsally, dorsal and ventral margins subparallel; apex curved dorsally and acute, forming an acute tooth-like subapical process in posterior view. Aedeagus (Figs 59, 60) dorsal apodeme with laterodorsal angles produced laterally and divergent; shaft long and thin, straight and with apical portion weakly curved anteriorly in lateral view; apex weakly sclerotized, ventral surface with pair of long subapical processes directed dorsally.

Female. Unknown.

Etymology. The new species name is an anagram for the species epithet ingula . It refers to the similarity between these two species.

Remarks. Fuminana niluga sp. nov. is similar to F. ingula due to the aedeagus with long and straight processes distinctly surpassing the apex of the shaft and directed dorsally (Fig. 60). However, the new species can be easily differentiated by the acute style apex (Fig. 58) while in F. ingula the apex of style is truncate.
