TYPE LOCALITY: Sudan, Nubia .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality, NE Sudan.

COMMENTS: Lay (1983) remarked that although most authors list this form equivocably under G. nanus , it should be kept separate until a revision is available.
