Material examined: NW Italy ¡ Limone Piemonte, VII.1915, G. Mantero [Piemonte region, Cuneo province ], 1 female, J. Háva det., ( JHAC) ; Casella, Valle Scrivia, VI.1937, C. Mancini [Liguria region, Genova [= Genoa] province, Casella [=municipality], Valle Scrivia [= Valley of torrent Scrivia], 1 female, J. Háva det., ( JHAC).
Distribution: Species recently described from Switzerland. New for Italy.
Remarks: The females differ from males by the structure of antennal club; terminal antennal segment is small, rounded. From very visually similar species Globicornis (Globicornis) nigripes (Fabricius, 1792) differs by the entirely light brown antennae and shiny brown pronotum and elytra.
