Gryllotalpella rehni n. sp.

Diagnosis. Similar to G. tindalei n. sp., but smaller, Pronotal disc Brown with two yellow spots (fig. 57), apex of the dactyls soft and blunt (fig. 58). Tegmina with no additional cell in the base. Anal vein 2 not forked (fig. 59).

Holotype. ♀. Colombia, Amazonas, Parque Natural Nacional (Natural National Park) Amacayacu. 2 October 2012. Rodriguez leg. (MUD).

Paratype. ♀. Same data as holotype.

Description. Prominent circular ocelli, apex of the labial and maxillary palpi dilated (fig. 56). Pronotum brown with a yellow spot to each side of the pronotal disc (fig.57). Tympani ovoid and elongate, occupying 90% of the base of the tibia (fig. 58). Tegmina with no additional cell, vein A2 not forked, anal 1 and 2 region with numerous cross veins, anal region 1 with 5 or 6 cross veins; first cubital area with four cross-veins (fig. 59). Wings surpassing the length of the abdomen. Abdomen typical of the genus.

Etymology. In memoriam of J.A.G. Rehn, author of the genus and a great orthopterist.

Measurements (mm). Tl: 26.5–28, P: 4, Teg: 5.2, Hf: 4, Ht: 2.8.
