Specimens examined. 1♀, Jazan, Fifa, Al-Tatweer Centre, Malaise trap, 6–28.i.2016, H.A. Dawah ( CERS) .
Distribution. This species is the first record from Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula. It is a most unexpected find. It was described from Mozambique and further recorded from southern Nigeria ( Sabrosky 1980).
