Material examined — Ghana, stream Asukuma , Kakum National Park, 5°26.995′ N, 1°25.071′ W, 12 Feb. 2013, 131 m a.s.l., leg. Smit 1 ♂ (partly damaged), dissected and slide mounted ( RMNH) .

Description: Male — Posteromedial margin of Cx-I pointed, caudo-lateral apodemes of Cx-I+II slightly developed ( Fig. 1A ); Cx-IV subtriangular, with a distinct nose-like protruding medial margin, posterior and lateral margins with extended secondary sclerotization as illustrated in Fig. 1A . Genital field with five pairs of acetabula, with an irregular margin of the secondary sclerotization, anterior margin convexly protruding, posterior margin due to the secondary sclerotization without indentation ( Fig. 1A ). Ventral margin P-2 concave, distally protruding in a slightly developed, blunt, nose-shaped projection bearing a few denticles; P- 3 anteroventrally with denticles ( Fig. 1C ). I-L-5 at distal end with a pair of short, thickened setae ( Fig. 1B ).

Measurements — Idiosoma L 397; coxal field: L 296; Cx-III maximum W 397; mL of Cx-I + gnathosoma L 206; genital field L/W 119/117.

Palp: total L 302; dL/H, dL/H ratio: P-1, 29/23, 1.24; P-2, 77/41, 1.89; P-3, 47/40, 1.16; P-4, 109/28, 3.9; P-5, 40/16, 2.4; P-2/P-4 ratio 0.7.

Legs: dL of I-L: 41, 48, 63, 83, 92, 97; L of I-L-5 ventrodistal setae 14; dL of IV-L: 81, 61, 97, 113, 120, 122.

Remarks — Cook (1966) collected H. angelieri in a stream near Suehn in Liberia. One of two collected specimens has the genital field with five pairs of acetabula, the second specimen has six pairs of acetabula ( Cook 1974). In regard to the similar shape of the palp and first leg, and the genital field with five pairs of acetabula, the male described here is assigned to H. angelieri .
