World distribution: Indonesia? [not India] ( Oldroyd 1975: 107).

Note: No confirmed occurrence records are known from India. The distribution citations by Ricardo (1922: 52) and Lal (1960: 15) from India appear to be a lapsus for the type locality in the East Indies, which is considered a part of the islands of southeastern Asia not India.
