Propetes schmidti Melichar, 1925

Notes. Based on the observation of a single female of P. schmidti from Parque Nacional do Cipó, Jaboticatubas, Minas Gerais State, Brazil, which was attracted to a light sheet (see video available at <goo.gl/ZQkSNc> or by request to authors), it seems apparent that this species exhibits a behavior described by Boulard (1978) as “bluffing display” found in another wasp-mimicking sharpshooter genus Lissoscarta Stål, 1869 (Cicadellini) .
