Host plants: In the literature ( Bieńkowski 2004), Artemisia View in CoL and Tanacetum (Compositae) View in CoL are mentioned as host plants.

General distribution: Europe ( Austria, Danube basin, Poland, Czechia, Croatia, Hungary, Rumania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Latvia, England, S Germany, N Italy, S Finland, France, Spain, Sweden), Asia Minor, Near East ( Israel), Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Central Asia ( Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan), Mongolia. Note: Pūtele (1965) reported this species from two localities. Record needs confirmation. According to the catalogue of Silfverberg (2004), the species is mentioned for Finland, Latvia and Sweden. It is not recorded in Belarus ( Lopatin, Nesterova 2005).
