Notes: The SEMs presented here compliment the drawings in Shear (1971). The two-branched gonopods ( Figs. 255, 256 View FIGS ) are unique in that the anterior branches, which are set with tiny cuticular projections, seem to arise from the sternal part of the coxosternum, which can be seen in a posterior view ( Fig. 256 View FIGS ) to be poorly sclerotized. The posterior gonopod coxites ( Fig. 257 View FIGS ) have an anterior movable flagellum made up of several separate filaments.
