Lynceidae Baird, 1845

Lynceus denticulatus (Gurney, 1930) [species complex] (sensu Rogers & Padhye, 2015)

Size: 100–120 µm (n=4) polygon number = ~90–100; wh: dw = ~ 0.4. Egg surface ornamented with ca. 100 irregular polygons with 5–7 angles, size of polygons variable, margins not defined at places. Walls of the polygons wide and smoothly humped. Polygon floors smooth, approximately 0.8 of the total surface of each polygon ( Fig. 5 C & D).
