Formolevu exotivus Yang & Wu, 1993: 217 View in CoL , 220, Fig. 106
Etymology. As stated by the authors, the species name is a Latin adjective ( exotivus , -a, -um). The name is possibly a misspelling of 'exoticus'.
Type material. Holotype ♂ (not examined), TAIWAN, N. Tungyaanshan, Nantou Hsien, 21–22.VII.1985, S.J. Fang ( NCHU).
Distribution. Taiwan
Diagnosis. Muiralevu exotivus is very similar to M. quadramaculatus (Muir) , also from Taiwan. According to the original description and illustrations, the main differences are the larger size and the lack of a pointed process on the apical part of the male aedeagus.
