Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, Alto da Serra.
Syntype ♂ with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions: “ XII-28 [xii.1928] [in vertical position] | São Paulo [State of São Paulo, Brazil] | Alto da Serra ”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “ Berisargus | borgmeieri | Lindner det. 32 [1932]”; (3) handwritten on white paper: Type | Lindner | 1933 [in vertical position]”; (4) printed on white paper: “8.018”; (5) printed on red paper: “ Typus ”; (6) printed on red paper: “EMBRAPA”.
Condition of type: good. Missing part: left fore leg.
