Ommatius retrahens Walker, 1858: 88 View in CoL . Type locality: Indonesia (Maluku [Moluccas]: Aru Islands ) [Holotype ♀, NHMUK].

World distribution: India, Indonesia [not India] ( Walker 1858: 88; Lal 1960: 13; Oldroyd 1975: 134).

Note: No specimen base to confirm distribution in India. The species is excluded from the Indian fauna based on the conclusion of Oldroyd (1975: 134) that existing Indian records were based solely on the speculation by Lal (1960: 13).
