Type depositories: The holotype is housed in the ZSM, paratypes in MR.
Etymology: The name refers to A. Klimenko who collected the only known specimens of the species.
Diagnosis: Possibly a member of the O. mocsaryi species group. Distinguished from the other known members of the aggregate by the very densely and partly rugulose face in combination with the obtuse pleurosternal angles, which are situated distinctly anterior to the sternal angles.
Description: Fore wing length 12.5‒13 mm. Body length 14‒15 mm. Antenna with 48‒54 flagellomeres. Temple narrowed behind compound eyes, in lateral view about 0.4 × as long as compound eye in female and male. Space between compound eye and lateral ocellus narrow, about 0.1‒0.2 × the diameter of ocellus in female and male. Occipital carina centrally evenly rounded. Face below antennal sockets shagreened with very dense punctures that partly form rugulose sculpture ( Fig. 13E View FIGURE 13 ). Malar space narrow about 0.2 × as long as mandibular base in female and male ( Fig. 13C View FIGURE 13 ). Mandibular gape acute, without internal angles, as in O. slaviceki Kriechbaumer. Antennae stout, first flagellomere 3.0 × as long as wide. Central flagellomeres stout, about 1.2‒1.4 × as long as wide. Apical flagellomeres approximately 1.4 × as long as wide. Mesoscutum strongly polished, virtually without puctures. Mesopleuron weakly shagreened with punctures quite dense, space between punctures about equal to their diameter. Epicnemial carina, in antero-ventral view, with pleurosternal angles strongly obtuse and indistinct, distinctly anterior to sternal angles ( Fig. 13D View FIGURE 13 ). Scutellum without lateral carinae. Propodeum with the anterior transverse carina in some specimens forming an arcuate lobe centrally, with very weak rugulose sculpture, opaque. Posterior transverse carina indicated laterally ( Fig. 13B View FIGURE 13 ). Propodeum polished, anterior to anterior transverse carina with distinct scarce puncture. Carination ranging from almost complete with only the posterior carina adjacent to area supeomedia absent to having the posterior carina and the lateral parts of the anterior transverse carina absent. Sclerotised part of first sternite ending posterior to spiracle. Hind trochantellus shorter than wide in dorsal view. Hind femur slender, about 8.0 × as long as wide. Inner spur of hind tibia long, about 0.5 × as long as hind metatarsus. Wing membrane clear. Ramellus absent or short, reaching 0.3 × the width of the discosubmarginal cell. Radius weakly sinuous, almost straight before junction with pterostigma. Nervellus broken below the middle by the discoidella.
Colouration: Body testaceous. Inner and outer eye margins yellow. Mandibular teeth black. ovipositor sheath dark brown, contrasting in colour with posterior metasomal segments.

Remarks: A member of the O. mocsaryi -aggregate most closely related to Ophion rostralis , from which it shows a minimum sequence divergence of 1.79%.
