Distribution and habitat: — Brazil ( Bahia , known only from the Mucugê area in the Serra do Sincorá). Campo rupestre; 900–1050 m.
Taxonomic Notes: —Easily recognized by its narrowly linear leaves with revolute margins, setuliferous cypselae and 2–3-seriate pappus.
