[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ Douglas , Arizona, USA; August 10, 1936]

Paranomada velutina View in CoL occurs across northwestern Mexico and the southwestern USA. This species is a brood parasite on Exomalopsis ( Rozen 1977) View in CoL . We reviewed one female cited by Linsley (1943) collected in the Cape Mountains in October 1941 (CASC). Additionally, we examined one female collected in the Gulf Coast in La Paz in 1954 (CASC) and one from the Cape Region collected in October 1983 (LACM). See fig. 129.
