Range: —Greater Antilles; Andes from Venezuela to Bolivia ( CH, CO, LP, TA).
Ecology: —Rare; epiphytic and saxicolous in semihumid forests; 2100–3400 m.
Notes: —Most easily confused with P. venturii , which has glabrous sporangia and less strongly ascending pinnae.
