Combination: Ewingozetes bifurcatus (Ewing, 1909) ; ( Hammer 1952a), Parapelops bifurcatus (Ewing) ; ( Jacot 1938g).

Synonymy: Galumna panita Banks, 1910 : ( Marshall et al. 1987), Pelopsis nudiuscula Hall, 1911 : ( Norton 1979c).

Geographic Location: NT: Yellowknife ( Hammer 1952a); AB: Waterton Lakes NP ( Behan-Pelletier & Eamer 2008); ABMI Sites; Moose Pasture Research Site; Morinville ( Walter et al. 2014); NS: Dominion; Cape Breton Highlands NP ( Behan-Pelletier et al. 1987; Behan-Pelletier & Eamer 2008).

Habitats: sandy, wet lakeshore in dense vegetation; mosses in floating fen; gravel in riffle.

Distribution: Nearctic.
