Distribution: Ecuador.
Records in Ecuador: Pichincha ( Pasochoa National Park ) and Loja (Podocarpus National Park-Cajanuma).
Habitat: Hillside 150 m above the stream, fern stems from shrubby secondary forest. Litterbags of Clusia spp. Graffenieda emarginata and Hediosmum sp.
