Notes:— We have found two specimens that perfectly match the protologue of Pimpinella macrophylla Philippi (1894 View in CoL ; “In praedio Renaico Araucaniae in parvo nemore plerumque a Cryptocarya Peumo formato martio 1887 inverni”) and correspond to the same gathering ( SGO000003764 About SGO , SGO000003765 About SGO ). The former, has leaf material only, while the latter, and therefore chosen as lectotype, is a complete specimen with fruiting umbels .
