Discussion. We did not study material of Granulolabium laevissima from the middle Oligocene of the Mainz and Paris basins ( Kadolsky 1995) and therefore, we don’t know if it is conspecific with Granulolabium plicatum (Bruguière, 1792) . Applying the species concept of Lozouet (1986), however, requires placing the Hungarian material described by Janssen (1984) in Granulolabium plicatum (Bruguière, 1792) .
