Immature stages described in literature. Lyponiini: Lyponia quadricollis (Kiesenwetter) , illustration of general appearance, Hayashi (1986); food habits, behavioural data, and a photograph, Matsuda (1997a). Larva and pupa described as Lyponia quadricollis (Kiesenwetter) by Hayashi (1954) represents in fact Cautires yausai Nakane. Platerodini : Plateros pubicornis (Walker) , Bugnion (1907), as Ditoneces pubicornis ; Plateros coracinus (Kiesenwetter) , behavioural data and illustrations, Hayashi and Takenaka, (1960); illustration, Hayashi (1986); Plateros floralis (Melsheimer) , Miller (1997); Plateros sp. , Gardner (1946). Libnetini: no immature stages known.
