Material examined. Holotype female ( RMNH) from Malacca (no further details); paratype from Borneo (no further details), donated to RMNH, afterwards proved to belong to Paris museum ( MNHN), and has been returned shortly after publication. Mouthparts of holotype dissected, probably by Janson. Approximate body length 26–31 mm; holotype ( Figs. 8–12 View FIGURES 1 – 12. 1 – 7 ) 26.5 mm in length.
