Distribution in Iran. Generic records: Iran ( Dejean 1836 [ Persia occ.]; Gemminger & Harold 1869 [ Persia occ.]; Baudi di Selve 1872 [ Persia occ.]).
Distribution outside Iran. Russia (South European Territory) ( Kazantsev 2004, 2011; Kazantsev & Brancucci 2007).
Remarks. Species widely distributed along the Caucasus, whose presence in Iran is doubtful and, at most, only marginal and limited to the Azerbaijan and Armenia border proximity.
