World distribution: Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam [not India] ( Macquart 1850: 385; Oldroyd 1975: 154).
Note: Excluded here from the Indian fauna based on the conclusion of Oldroyd (1975: 154) that existing Indian records were based solely on the speculation by Lal (1960: 25). The Indian distribution citation by Lahiri & Mitra (2004: 128) also lacks the locality data and appears to be a lapsus or misidentification.
