161. Pseudacraea eurytus Linnaeus, 1758

WL: 35mm. P. eurytus is known from all types of forest. Males and females are mimetic and polymorphic, mimicking Acraein butterflies. It ranges from Senegal to Angola and Uganda. The caterpillars are reported to feed on several Sapotaceae .

Studied material. Cacheu: Caió, specimens of morphs eurytus , ulvaris and striata observed (JB) . Gabú: Lugajole , 1♂ (JG 21) (CZ 5898).
