Description of Ralstonia solanacearum SR View in CoL 4-06
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, non-pigmented, and coccoid-shaped. Colonies are circular, entire, convex and pale yellow-colored after 3 days of incubation on R2 A at 30℃. Positive for nitrate reduction, glucose fermentation and urease but negative for cytochrome oxidase, arginine dihydrolase, indole production esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase and β -galactosidase in API 20NE test. D-glucose and capric acid are utilized. Strain SR4-06 (= NIBRBA0000114199) has been isolated from root of evening primrose(Oenothera biennis), Daejeon, Korea .
