Distribution.

Native to the Nearctic region. Widespread in eastern United States ( Clark 1996).

Canadian records.

Quebec: Forillon National Park, 05-Jul-2013 to 15-Jul-2013 (2 exx, CBG).

Bionomic notes.

This species has been collected from a wide variety of plant species ( Clark 1996). The Canadian specimens were collected with a Malaise trap along a forest trail in Forillon National Park.
