Note: Schrebera Linnaeus , nom. rej. in favour of Schrebera Roxb. Meeuse (in Bothalia 6: 652-653. 1957) says that this probably relates in part to Cuscuta africana Willd. and in part to its host Myrica conifera Burm. Although S. schinoides is illegitimate, Schinus myricoides is not, and could threaten the current names of either of the taxa to which it is supposed to belong. It may therefore be a candidate for rejection.
