Material examined. No specimens occurring in the studied territory was found. Zabaikalsky Kray: Nizhny Tsasuchey, 29.VII.1996, 1 ♁ (GenBank ID: OK073130 ); same loc., 4.VIII.1996, 1 ♀, V. Dubatolov [ ISEA] . Khabarovsky Kray: Khabarovsk, 16.VII.1925, 2 ♁ (unknown collector) [ ZIN] .
Distribution. Siberian–Far Eastern subboreal–subtropic. Republic of Buryatia, Zabaikalsky Kray, Amurskaya Oblast, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, southern part of Khabarovsky Kray, Primorye. Outside Russia in Mongolia, N, NE, SE and central China, Taiwan Isl., Korea, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima Isl.).
Hostplants: unknown.
Genetic note. The nearest species is S. inductata (Guenée, [1858]) : at the 4.7% distance.
