39. Senecio superparamensis Sklenář (2012: 396) .

Type:—‘ ECUADOR. Napo, northeastern side of Antisana , low superpáramo vegetation, 00º27′24. 4′′ S, 78º 08′50.4′′ W, 4470 m a.s.l., P. Sklenář and E. Rejzkova 10701 ’ (holotype: PRC 455288!; isotypes: QCA, QCNE not located). Iconography: Sklenář (2012: 397) .

Distribution and Habitat ( Fig. 5 ): — Senecio superparamensis occurs in páramo of Ecuador, at elevations of 2700– 4300 m. Although no material was examined from Colombia, Sklenář (2012) suggests that the species can be found on the Colombian side of Volcán Chiles.
