This species was described by Distant in 1918 from India and Yu et al. (2018) first reported it from Guizhou Province of China. Here we provide the first record from Xizang and provide illustrations.

Description. Length of male 5.21mm. Crown black with beige part ( Figs 11C, 11D View FIGURE 11 ). Pronotum black with beige anterior margin and yellowish posterior margin. Scutum and scutellum black with middle part yellow ( Figs 11A, 11B View FIGURE 11 ). Forewing dark brown with yellow stripes, apical cells infuscate ( Fig. 11G View FIGURE 11 ). Hind wing infuscate with brown veins ( Fig. 11H View FIGURE 11 ).

Abdominal apodeme reaching to 3rd sternite ( Fig. 11J View FIGURE 11 ). Pygofer side with rounded dorsal protrusion and sharp ventral protrusion pointing ventrad; disc with numerous microsetae, posterior and posterodorsal margin with rigid setae ( Fig. 11F View FIGURE 11 ). Subgenital plate exceeding posterior margin of pygofer ( Fig. 11E View FIGURE 11 ), with row of macrosetae and 2 rows of microsetae on outer and inner margin laterally ( Fig. 11L View FIGURE 11 ). Paramere long with apex hooked ( Fig. 11M View FIGURE 11 ). Connective broad V-shaped ( Fig. 11I View FIGURE 11 ). Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme and preatrium developed, shaft tapering to apex, gonopore subapical ( Fig. 11K View FIGURE 11 ).

Note. The specimens collected from Xizang are darker than those from Guizhou ( Yu et al., 2018, page 16, Figs 1–6 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2 View FIGURE 3 View FIGURE 4 View FIGURE 5 View FIGURE 6 ; page 17, Figs 21–24) and its forewing color pattern is more contrasting.

Material examined. 1♂ 1♀, China, Xizang Province, Nyingchi City, Medog County, Green Village , alt. 1000- 1500m, 4-VIII-2022, coll. Qingquan Xue.
