Remarks. Valid species described from Asian Russia ( Sars 1898). Indian populations need to be revised.
Distribution. Widely distributed in Asia, present in South Africa. “Probably the name S. vetuloides has been misused for other species” ( Orlova-Bienkowskaja 2001).
