Measurement. Male, 2.10–2.58mm (including wing).

Description. Body ochraceous with whitish stripe broad on vertex; eyes brown, pronotum with brown triangular patch centrally. Face brown with apical margin ochraceous. Forewing sandy beige, hind wing with CuA branched.

Abdominal apodeme weakly developed and reaching end of 3rd abdominal sternite ( Fig. 71 View FIGURES 67–74 ). Pygofer side with ventral margin elongate; pygofer hook slim, curved laterad and extended nearly to end of subgenital plate ( Figs 67, 68 View FIGURES 67–74 ). Subgenital plate broad and triangular with 4 macrosetae ( Fig. 69 View FIGURES 67–74 ). Paramere slim with both ends tapering, caudal part strongly sinuate ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 67–74 ). Connective with central lobe developed and nearly equal to lateral feet. Aedeagal shaft straight in lateral view with a pair of slim lateral processes apically; dorsoatrium developed. Notes. This species is very similar to Takagioma anguis sp. nov in the aedeagus, but differs from the latter by the long pygofer hook and narrower basal part of the paramere.

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin prefix “ longi- ” and Latin word “ cauda ”, referring to elongate pygofer side with extended ventral margin.
