Variation. Based on the examined specimens, the pygofer has the inner membrane forming a wrinkled process at about basal 2/3 ( Fig. 144 View FIGURES 140 – 152 ), undescribed in the diagnosis of Nielson (1977: 58, Fig. 175 View FIGURES 164 – 175 ); the paraphysis basal process is a mirror image from Guizhou, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Anhui ( Fig. 147 View FIGURES 140 – 152 ) to specimens from Fujian, Guangxi ( Fig. 150 View FIGURES 140 – 152 ); style sharply pointed forming spine distally ( Figs. 147, 149 View FIGURES 140 – 152 ) or truncated ( Figs. 150, 152 View FIGURES 140 – 152 ).

Remarks. This species was described from the holotype (female) from BMNH. It is very similar to T. fossa Nieslon, 1977 in general appearance, but differs in having the ventral processes of segment X shorter ( Fig. 144 View FIGURES 140 – 152 ) than in T. fossa ( Fig. 101 View FIGURES 97 – 108 ); also, the paraphysis has one basal process, and the distal half is not excavated as in T. fossa ( Figs. 104, 107 View FIGURES 97 – 108 , 147, 150 View FIGURES 140 – 152 ).
