Range: —Guianas and Colombia south to Bolivia (BE, CO, LP) and Brazil.

Ecology: —Uncommon; epiphytic and hemiepiphytic, tightly appressed to tree trunks, in humid forests; to 1500 m.

Notes: —Rhizomes are very long-creeping, 0.5–1.2 mm thick; blades are pinnatisect and appressed to tree trunks, attached by rust-colored, prehensile rhizoids; sori are stalked.
