Type-locality: Brazil, São Paulo de OlivenÇa, Amazonas.
Geographical distribution: Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil (Amazonas).
Note: Lutz. breviducta Barretto (1950) was described based in an single male designed as: holotype ♂ ║ Fazenda Jerusalém ║ Alegre ║ Espírito Santo ║ Brazil ║ Loc. Coll. in domicile ║ Leg. Zikan ║ Date Coll. not informed and material originally deposited in the "Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas de Ribeirão Preto″ (FCFRP) and incorporated in the MZUSP.However, this species was invalidated by Andrade et al. (2013), since this specimen is composed of parts of different species.
