Webbinella ? sp. 1 ( Fig. 17 :12, 13)

Remarks. The single specimen available was attached, oval in outline and planoconvex in profile. The polymorphine chamber arrangement of the test cannot be adequately identified due to encroaching detritus onto the test and its broken condition ( Fig. 17 :12, 13). However, the outline of the chambers, smooth test wall and depressed sutures suggest an affinity with Webbinella . This species somewhat resembles Webbinella hemisphaerica ( Jones et al. 1866) from Crag, England ( Loeblich & Tappan 1987, pl. 460, fig. 1) and Webbinella sp. 1 from Ningaloo Reef ( Parker 2009, figs 306a–b), but the damaged nature of the test precludes confident taxonomic assignment.

Distribution within study area. Webbinella sp. 1 was only collected at site 10 along the ST/HW transect on Heron Reef flat.
